Learning CPR is a simple way to be more prepared for an emergency. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford to take a CPR class. That's why on March 13, 2010 the Santa Cruz County Chapter of the Red Cross will be hosting their 2nd Annual Free CPR Saturday.

4 sites across Santa Cruz County will be hosting free Adult CPR classes. Registration is required, and space is limited. You must be a resident of Santa Cruz County and over 18 years old to attend. You may register online, or call 831-462-2881 x22 for more information. Please select your location carefully! No transfers will be allowed. No walk-ins.

Students will be trained by certified instructors in Adult CPR, rescue breathing, choking rescue, use of the EMS system, and basic home safety. Instruction is by demonstration, video tape and manikin practice on the floor. Wear comfortable clothing!

**This event is intended to make CPR training available to Santa Cruz County residents who may be unable to pay regular class fees. To see a schedule of our fee-based classes, Click Here.

Recipients will receive a certificate in Adult CPR good for one year.

We are looking for sponsors for this event! Please call David Wright, CEO at 831-462-2881 x12 or email dwright@sccredcross.org.
