There are two ways to get involved.
1. Find the Red Cross Club in your school and sign up for all of their great activities.
2. If there is no Red Cross Club at your school - Start One! This way to can volunteer on both the school and chapter levels. Schools with active clubs include:

SUMMER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES!
Are you a youth or adult looking to volunteer this summer? Do you need to complete volunteer hours before the school year begins? Are you looking for a way to make an impact on the safety of your community? Do you have free time to build up your resume?
Volunteer with Red Cross Youth Services this summer! The amount of time you devote is completely up to you.
JOIN THE SUMMER SAFETY TEAM. BELOW ARE THE DIFFERENT WAYS THAT YOU CAN BE INVOLVED
Basic Aid Training
We are looking for BAT instructors! As a BAT instructor you will teach this lively course to elementary school students. The courses are taught in two hours with a team of 2-3 instructors. Children learn basic first aid and personal safety skills including how to recognize an emergency, how to get help, how to control bleeding and how to perform rescue breathing.

Disaster Education
Disaster Educators help coordinate Safe Kids Fairs throughout the county to educate the community on emergency preparedness. Volunteers create booths, run tables, help with coordination of the event and have many other roles. Disaster Educators also can help give preparedness presentations to local youth groups and schools. The course is hour long and covers Fire Safety, Earthquake Preparedness and disaster kit assembly for youth of all ages.
