Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a group of American Red Cross Club members from all of the schools that have a Red Cross club in Santa Cruz County. Members of YAC are usually the President and/or Vice President of their club.
YAC keeps all of the Red Cross Clubs in Santa Cruz County connected and social. YAC is the leadership body of the Red Cross Clubs, and has a role in planning and coordinating all youth activities.

Aptos High School
The Aptos High School Red Cross Club meets Thursdays at lunch.
Emilia Miller
I am a senior at Aptos High and the President of the Red Cross Club. I enjoy running, swimming, cooking and gardening. I have been a volunteer with the Red Cross for two years, and also help out at Dominican Hospital and Coastlands Church.
Santa Cruz High School
The Santa Cruz High School Club meets Thursdays at 11:15 (Lunch) at Santa Cruz High room 23.
My names Kira Wong. I'm 16 and in 11th grade. I love drawing and painting and going on runs on Westcliff. The ocean enchants me and I like being out in the sun. I play volleyball. I listen to all sorts of music from reggae to country. I love chocolate and Harry Potter!
My name is Suzanna Wong and I'm a 16 years old junior at Santa Cruz High School. My family and friends are extremely important to me and I love spending time with them. I've played tennis on my high school team since I was a freshman. I love the beach, going for runs on Westcliff and sweets. I don't think I could live without chocolate. Music is also a huge part of my life, as well as Harry Potter, writing, being in nature, playing the drums on Rockband and my two cats.

Soquel high School meets Wednesday at break in Mrs. Candou's Classroom room 112

I am the co-president at Soquel High School. Working with the Red Cross has been very rewarding and I am glad to be a part of it. I enjoy studying.
